I bought an ASUS VG245h monitor, and the box says the refresh rate is @75hz. In the menu of the monitor, it says on the top left @60hz. Also, built in fps counter says 60fps. I used the connector cable that came in the box, and connected it to my relatively new pc with a new motherboard. Any ideas on what I might be able to do in order for it to display @75hz? Thanks.

(sorry if I'm breaking any rules, I'm new)

What cable are you using? HDMI should be fine. Go to display settings by right clicking on your desktop>advanced display settings>display adapter properties>Monitor. It should show up.

Edit: Thanks for the advice, my problem was fixed!

Go to Display Settings > Advanced Display Settings > Display Adapter Properties > Monitor see if the refresh rate is set to 75Hz instead of the default 60Hz.

If that doesn't solve it, what Graphics Adapter are you using and what interface are you using to connect the monitor?

Have you switched your refresh rate setting in Windows to 75 Hz? You need to do that first.
