I just got my first gaming PC and want to get a proper keyboard. I've narrowed my choices down to a cm storm for $90 and a Corsair strafe for $80. I often open up a calculator to do math so the 10 key comes in handy but ive also had right shoulder pain for the last year and have limited space on my keyboard tray. I'm using a trackball mouse now but would like to have the option of using a regular mouse for gaming (been using Xbox controller). Is 10keyless worth $10 more and not having the numbpad in the future?

Shorthand for tenkeyless is TKL.

I always prefer the NUMPAD since the utility is useful for strategy games and work. My vote goes to the CM Storm since I (pretty much) don't like Corsair KBs.

Personally, I like having the number pad, I use it quite lot. For me, the only reason I'd go for a TKL board is if I'm moving it around. While I was at college, I had a TKL board that I would take with me so I didn't have to use the awful mushy keyboards at the college.

Yeah it's gonna be permanently in one spot.

No good? I figured all MX series keyboards would be more or less the same and I didn't really want to spend more than $100. I wanted backlight because the light socket above my keyboard recently died. I should probably get an electrician to fix that before buying a keyboard to be honest
