Raspberry pi 2/3 mini laptop?

GollyGee

Hello,

I have a raspberry pi 3 and a raspberry pi 2 model b. In planning on making a mini laptop with one of them for coding and emulating games. I'm planning for it to be powered by a USB battery charger, and it's okay if that's external from the unit. I'm using a 3.5" screen. Any ideas on what case I could use for it? It needs to house the raspberry pi and the screen. Keyboards and batteries can be seperate and outside the case. I would like the case to be as small as possible and have a hinge.

Think like an altoids tin, but a bit bigger.

Thanks!

King of oz, thanks for the link, but I already have a 3.5" screen and I would like the laptop to be a lot smaller than that; with an external battery and keyboard.

Oh, sorry. The best solution for a casing then would be to 3-D print it. Or do some extreme woodworking. Or you could make it inside a laptop bag by gluing the components in place.

P.S next time quote me so I know you have responded.

Thanks, I'll probably 3d print it.
