PC shuts of randomly?

So, my PC just shut of and wont turn back on

i tried to

1. Unplug and plug back in

 

That didnt work..

I suspect it's your PSU.  Usually when a PC does nothing upon hitting the power button, that's the culprit.  I am especially suspicious of it in this situation since you claim your PSU is "a potato"

Wait derp i figured out the problem

 

The power of my rig blew the socket on the power strip

:P the GE power strip cant support the power of a core 2 duo xD
