I am currently planning a new PC build, and this is my first time doing it. I am unsure of how much wattage I need, while having room for small upgrades.

 

Here are my parts:

Case: NZXT S340 Elite

CPU: i7 7700K

CPU Cooler: Corsair Hydro Series H100i V2

GPU: EVGA GTX 1070 SC Gaming ACX 3.0 Black Edition

RAM: G.SKILL TridentZ RGB Series 16gb (2 x 8GB) DDR4 3000mhz

MoBo: ASUS ROG Strix Z270E

SSD: Samsung 850 EVO 500GB

HDD: Seagate BarraCuda 2TB

A high quality 550watt PSU will be more than enough (in fact, a 350watt would technically have enough wattage so...200watt overhead for OCing and whatnot)

 

PSU recommendations:

EVGA G2, G3, GQ, P2, PS, T2

Corsair RMi, RMx, HXi, AX, AXi 

XFX XTS, XTR (well in fact any bar their XT line)

Anything from Seasonic.
