Don't need two CPU coolers

Don't get a founders edition card, They cost too much.

Don't buy a z270 board for a 6700k, only if you are getting a 7700k

Very good build. Should be able to play 99.9999999% of all games at max settings.

Yes and no.

• You have two CPU coolers
• You might as well get a 7700k if you're getting a Z270 board
• Do you really need an Nvme drive? Personally I'd go with something cheaper.
• You can get a better, non reference 1080 for much less
• You don't really need those extra fans
• You don't have a power supply
• Have you checked to make sure the liquid cooler is compatible with the case?

I think you have a decent start, for sure, but definitely needs some tweaking.

This one is slightly cheaper, has a better CPU and cooler, a cheaper GPU with a better cooler, a PSU, an SSD with the same size for 1/3 of the price (It isn't as fast but you won't notice the difference) and a case that looks similar that has better watercooling support.

The Intel SSD is considerably slower. Not slow by any means, but it's far from the same speed.

Whoops, I will fix that. Regardless, I don't think anyone needs an SSD that fast unless they are running a server.

Ok thanks for the input, and yes I know I have two CPU coolers. The reason behind that Is because I haven't decided on one yet, but it's In between those two. Another thing is that I not going to select a psu until all the components are set in stone (for example reading through the comments I have some tweaking to do). I'll look for a new CPU as well. The two fans I have picked out are to replace the front fan for better air flow ( but I still need to choose which will probably be the one with better through put).

If he's doing a lot of video recording, though, then it makes more sense.

I would still go with a bigger case. That one has airflow problems because it has so little room on the inside.

True. I don't think paying 3x as much is worth a 10% speed increase so that's why I don't think it's value.

I'm not sure what you've been reading, but it destroys everything else with a much higher than 10% increase..
