Well let me start with my system spec

Processor - Intel i3-540(i know its six-five year old build, with stock cpu fan)

Motherboard-Intel dh55pj

Psu-Xtech P4-550W

HDD-Wd green 1tb

Memory-Transcend DDR3-1333

And a dvd drive

Well the problem is..It suddenly shutdown while playing dota 2 at lowest settings (It used to get shutdown after every 20-30mins while playing it, and it would work after 3-5mins break and a restart ???)  and the display isn't showing now all i get on the screen is (check signal cable) I use a standard dvi-i cable to connect to monitor (SyncMaster B2030). I do not have any graphics card.

Well I need tech support please ?

After reading this most of the ppl would suggest to build a new one, I know but I am hanging up until Ryzen drops in India till than I gotta work up with this shit.

I tried to unplug and replug everything, clean up the dust etc.. But nothing works..

Screenshots for refrences attached.

ANY KIND OF SUGGESTIONS ARE APPRECIATED ?????

You see all that dust on the CPU fan? That probably killed your CPU bro.

My gosh...well no wonder it died...Did you ever clean it since you bought it? That is just terrible, outright awful and a crime to treat any hardware that way, no matter how expensive it is

i mean, if its dead not much you can do, The processor most likely overheated while playing dota two because the dust was restricting the airflow.

while you wait for Ryzen why don't you get yourself and nice power supply that will have you covered for your new machine? cause that sound a lot like a PSU overheating/auto-protecting...i'm pretty sure the PSU is dying to die :P

Reset CMOS' clean CPU heatsink, pop it off, put new thermal paste and try again.

Your PC rebooting by itself was the first indication that something was wrong. You've decided not to investigate and kept going with it.

Seeing the dust caked on your heatsink, the CPU more than likely overheated, which in turn reboots the system to protect itself. Do that a few times and it wear out the CPU quite a bit, killing it.

I doubt this system will come back to life even if you get a new PSU or put new thermal paste/clear CMOS.

i don't know, I fixed a couple of my friends computer by removing the one inch thick layer of cat hair on the heatsink and doing a clear cmos. so it might not be quite dead.. it's possible

start with that. if it still doesn't post, don't bother changing the thermal paste. even if it's "damage" by the overheating it should be still conductive enough to post and idle.

if it doesn't, well... something died.
