Hi, I would like to use my PC so me and my brother can play on it at the same time. I would like to know if my PC is capable enough to run 2 gamers and how I would go about doing it!

Thanks, George.

You cannot. You don't have 3 GPUs (one for the console and one for each VM)

You are better off just buying a second computer, Linus' 2 Gamer's one CPU project was an example of stupid things that you could do if you were Linus.

I am still going to say don't, the software they use isn't cheap and really it is not a sound investment.

A Celeron G1840 came out in 2014 and it is using the same micro architecture as your i7 4790k, just upgrade the CPU and drop the GPU in that computer.

It depends on the games you are going to play. i5 is enough to play cs:go 90 fps with low settings. Install linux, qemu+kvm with vga-passthrough. If smth more graphics demanding you can have problems configuring vga-passthrough for two graphics-cards , but there are also a lot of blog-posts in internet about that.

So if you are lazy, you should pay %)
