Gamemaker on external harddrive

Not sure about GameMaker, but I have ran Unity3D off an external drive in the past and that didn't have any hickups. I would assume, since GM is less advanced, it will run just as well.

 

But why don't you test it out yourself? You are the only person that can evaluate if you are content with the speed of it.
