Linus tells this like at least 1 time in every video. Noctua NF-F12.

Thou noctua themselves prefer to call the most silent one NF-S12A.

He said AIRFLOW not PRESSURE. http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=productview&products_id=25 This is the best AIRFLOW fan.

kk. This simple thread got a lot of confusion in it, while there shouldn't be any. Here's the link to Noctua's official "best use for the fan" graph, i hope this clears things back to simple: http://www.noctua.at/main.php?show=which_fan_is_right_for_me&lng=en

I might be a few days late in saying this however I will leave my personal opinion on the fans. I have not reviewed the S12A but I have reviewed the S12B and so will work from that.

The S12 fans are good for both airflow and quietness but don't look as nice as the other 2 and I would not recommend over the others if you are using it for anything other than an exhaust fan.

The P12 is good for both but is slightly louder. This being said it is better than the S12 as an intake where you require the little boost in Static pressure performance.

Unless you are planning on using it on a radiator I would not use the F12 over the others for THOSE specific needs.

Choose accordingly and then you can decide on whether to get PWM, ULN or FLX, depending on your outright priority.Hope this helps,
