So I picked up an MSI G41M4-L on the cheap and built a Core 2 Quad rig out of it. I grabbed updated BIOS off the MSI site and updated for it to read a 4GB RAM stick properly, and used M-Flash. The update was successful and then...nothing.

By "nothing", I mean that the PC will power on, but there's no visual output. No audio output, either. Everything runs up to full power, the CPU fan comes on, I can open and close the ODD just fine, but it won't boot to anything. No motherboard speaker chirps. I've already reset CMOS, pulled out the GPU and gone down to a single 2GB stick of RAM. Do I have a bricked mobo, or is there something I haven't tried yet?

I enjoy buying junk and sinking more money than it's worth into it to make it less junk.

The most recent BIOS zip off of MSI's site. Unzipped it to a USB drive, went into BIOS, fired up M-flash and went from there.

Bad flash was the first thing that came to my mind too

That's true, I hadn't tried a bootable USB drive yet, but the system doesn't POST and I'm not sure it would flash again.
