I would add an optical drive! :D Otherwise I don't know, hardware isn't really my thing.

Yes, it's 2871 as in the year 2871. I traveled all this way, back in time, just to help you. And you thought your mama lied when she said you were special-_-

  • Power Supply for sure
  • No need for Z170
  • Get a 6700k or 7700k instead
  • Get a Z270 motherboard
  • Only 500GB of HDD?
  • RX 480!! That monitor has Freesync!

Yes, This!

RX 480 is a better card than the 1060 anyway. (because of DX12)

PSU is soooo trash

choose either a non-Z motherboard, or a K-sku CPU. (7700K OR H/B Motherboard)

Z270 is a bad choice IMO. Z270 motherboards are much more expensive than Z170 ones, and many Z170 boards have a way to update the BIOS without a CPU. (especially the more premium ones)

I don't think you need a network card. that motherboard has gigabit Ethernet already

Getting a 170 with a 7xxx cpu is a bad idea. the 170 chipset disables the features a kabylake processor adds, like the new video codecs that are required to run 4k movies now

Really? so even with the latest BIOS a Z170 motherboard can't watch 4K Netflix?

What a shame.

Which is what OP plans to do with a GTX 1060? He will buy a 4K monitor?

I have no idea what op wants. Maybe he wants to hook this up to a tv or something later. He didn't give a good description of what he wants to do so if he's buying a kabylake processor might aswell buy a motherboard that supports features that kabylake brings to the table.

No I am saying that a just for the sake of 4K netflix not 4K movies in general it is not worth to get Kaby Lake

It isn't a pre built but I am buying it through a company that allows you to decide what you want in it and they build it for you as I've never actually built a computer myself
