Xtreme and Windforce are fine though

I can get Xtreme for 330 euro in a national shop (and it's 350euro on amazon) so ill go for Xtreme or Asus Strix.

Is the Gigabyte 1060 G1 Gaming really making coil whine? I want to upgrade my GPU and that's one of my options, bu ti've read that it has coil whine. Is any 1060 G1 owner out there that can confirm this? If it's confirmed, is it a loud whine?

But the G1 appears to have a high chance of coil whine

Wow. That's sad. People need to stop buying gigabyte graphics cards.

Not loud at all. It is mostly audible when the GPU is outputting around 200fps. You will not hear it when you are wearing headphones! If you don't really care about coil whine get the 1060 G1 Gaming! Mine gets around 60C under full load and it boosts to 2025MHz on it's own. Additionally, the GPU is binned for higher overclocks. IMO, it is the best 1060 out there...

BTW, there are 2 revisions of the 1060 G1, Idk if the 2nd revision fixed the issue, as I have the 1st revision. (However, the 1060 G1 Gaming Revision 1.0 is slightly better IMO, as it is using the same PCB as the 1070 and 1080 G1 Gaming)

That's awesome! I think i'll go for it as it is the cheapest between Xtreme and Strix. In the webpage of the G1 Gaming of the shop (its the biggest here in Spain) says that only 2% of G1 cards have coil whine, lets see if i'm inside the 98% remaining :D

Even if it has coil whine, it is unlikely to bother you in most games, as you won't be getting 150+FPS :D

not the first model who has coil whine, shouldn't stop buying from them because of that, my 1080 G1 Gaming from them does NOT have coil whine, or if it does, the case covers it (though I always play either with my speakers on or headphones on, plus my case has a lot of sound dampening materials, so that might help)
