Well. After doing some research and seeing what I can do with my tax return I decided to go almost all out with this new build. Not completely overboard since the only thing better will cost much more. Nothing I can tell is bottlenecked and I can play nearly every game in ultra within 1080p. Not sure how much I should ask for my old rig since I plan on selling it. I want to ask $250 for my old one since I want it gone soon as soon as I get the new parts.

the CM V10 Hybrid is a waste of money for a non-K CPU

4x4 GB of RAM - you are asking for trouble especially since the LGA1151 is not a quad channel mem config; stick with 2*8GB

Kingston UV400 - why!? is there anything special about that drive? Samsung 850EVO will do a better job

Cm V10 is similar to what Im getting just couldnt find the pacific cooler
Will change the 4x4 ram to 2x8
Kingston UV400 is close to the kingston model im getting just not the exact one, Samsung 850evo is over budget and im just using it for only a boot. I have a 5TB external that I have for everything else except boot.

Agreed, hence why I mentioned him taking a K CPU. Better yet if you are that unable to go over the budget, take a different cooling solution that works with the K CPU.

that's not what I meant ... if you do not OC the CPU, the boxed cooler will do just fine

and PS: I'd go for a KabyLake CPU

Not always Im looking for lower temps to make the parts last just a bit longer. Plus you cant go wrong with a $30 heatsink over the stock one.

30$ that can go into a bigger SSD

and the non K i7 are just 65W TDP CPUs - no special cooling needed
