Hi, I recently set my bios to load defaults after a failed overclock. Everything is running great bar one minor issue. I have the ERP setting enabled so all peripherals power down when the PC is shut off as I use a small LCD screen to show my AIDA 64 temp/usage readouts. If I don't use this setting then the small LCD stays powered up (powered via USB) which is pretty annoying. Before I loaded defaults everything was perfect. However now, whenever I power up the PC it instantly shuts down then boots as normal - This isn't a PSU or boot issue, its definitely something to do with the ERP and another bios setting but I'm not sure which one it is - also googling my symptoms just gives people with boot loops problems

Maybe you had it enabled without realising? :D

By the way, don't forget to quote...I'm sure you know the reasons :P

I mean the PC boots normally with ERP disabled. If I enable it then the instant power down/restart occurs, like I said it aint major as it only does it once per cycle and it's less annoying than looking at the black powered screen of the LCD in the case:
