CUDA Acceleration

Would it benefit content creation say e.g

A gtx 1050 with a pentium g4560

Kind of depends what you're doing. If you've got an Nvidia card, there's no reason not to use CUDA acceleration, but not everything benefits from it. Things like regular encoding don't really benefit from CUDA acceleration (at least, not for H.264 from my experience), but it can help a lot for some after effects. For modelling, it can help with rendering as well.

Only productivity programs I'm planning to use are Premiere Pro, Photoshop and After Effects.

After Effects should benefit most out of those I think, though I don't use it personally.

The point is though, would that increase my render time with an entry-level CPU?

It would decrease it, not increase it. (a good thing) 

 

How much it helps really depends on the effects you're applying. Some work very well with CUDA acceleration, while others don't use it at all.
