I have a dell e6410, but I "accidentally" cracked the entire lcd panel. I want to install freenas on it to get some use out of it, but when I hook up the vga cable to the moniter, it wont display the image, I even successfully booted to windows and it still wont display. I have used two monitors!

I am going to check the vga cable today, but I wanted to know if there was anything I can do on the computer side.

I would do that, but I had a replacment laptop the second that one broke, so it would be a bit of a waste, and it has a broken a key as well, Its in pretty crappy condition, which is why I'm using it as a nas server.
