Looking for help building a budget workstation PC. My requirements for a workstation are basically

- 6+ CPU Cores

- A decent GPU that can game at 2560x1080 60hz

- Probably around $500-600

Im thinking the best way to do this would be on the used market. Looking at older Xeons and i7 Enthusiast lineup, like E5-2670 and i7-3930k. I'm thinking I could pick up something like a E5-1650 and a R9 380X or something to do this. Here are some parts lists I've made. Wondering if anyone has any input on the older CPUs and if you've seen good deals yourself. I've also considered buying an old workstation or server and adding in my own parts.
