Hello.

I have a problem with my cpu overclocking. I set to XMP, Sync all cores, set multiplier to 45 and so on. But the problem starts when i set my core voltage to manual mode and set it to for example 1.280 V. When i run Prime95 for stability my core voltage jumps up to 1.3V+ and it will not cap it like I set to in BIOS. Why is this happening? Is it because i should use other stress testing software or is it because i have my Windows power plan set to "High performance" and it delivers higher voltage to my CPU.

Basic specs:

CPU: i5 6600K

MOTHERBOARD: Asus Z170-A

RAM: Corsair Vengeance LED Blue

PSU:  EVGA 750W GQ Gold Plus

Modular

Thanks in advance.
