I need some help with upgrading my 7-8 years old PC. I recently upgraded a GPU because the old one started doing some strange thing and to be honest it was a time. And now I see that the CPU is not realy happy with new GPU. Usually I play dota 2 but want to have the possibility to play recent games on some normal settings if i find something interesting.

I would appreciate any help

Thanks

Look at the timings. Speccy's saying 666MHz because it's not taking double data rate into account. That's actually 1333MHz RAM by the looks of it.

I don't know what RAM is in German, but on:

https://www.kmcomputer.de

I picked an

intel i5 6400

ASRock H110M-DVS R2.0 1151 M-ATX DVI/D-Sub

I was trying to find DDR-4 Memory but this is the cost of the 2 parts so far:

Quote

Summe 255,80 €*

Versandkosten 4,90 €*

Gesamtsumme 260,70 €

Gesamtsumme ohne MwSt.:  219,08 €

zzgl. 19.00 % MwSt.: 41,62 €

An i7 would most likely be better but I'm not sure.

Do I realy need 16GB  memory ? Isn't it better to take 8 GB and put the price diference in CPU MOBO combo. RAM is the cheapest thing to upgrade and in a few weeks i can buy another 8GB
