To gsync or not to gsync?

Eguun

Hey guys im trying to buy monitor i have limit about 450$ can add 100$ more. I have msi 1070 gaming x gpu. I have few cheap monitors like pixio277 and dell s2416dg. Dell has gsync pixio have freesync. Is gsync worth it my games will mostly run more than 80hz so is it worth it.

i think ANY syncing of the GPU to the monitor is worth it. It just sucks that G-sync is hardware based and free-sync isn't.

oh well.

If your games TRULY don't ever dip below 80 fps, then it might not be worth it.  What settings and resolution will you be playing at?
