Facebook Patch 7 Virus

Got a pritty annoying program (Facebook Patch 7) that i cannot uninstall.

if i root my device my warranty will be voided

all the free anti-virus scanners you can download pick it up but cant uninstall it (no rights)

 

anny suggestions or do i just go ahead and root it.

(Lenovo Vibe P1,android marshmallows)

You could try a full factory reset. Just back up your contacts (assuming they're not synced with your Google account) and wipe everything off of the phone.

tried, didnt work :'(

You can either take it to a service which might not void your warranty or root it yourself and void the warranty.

Even the factory reset won't uninstall it?? Wow...

You could try to wipe the cache partition and then do a factory reset.

 

Or you could download a file explorer like Astro, then try to find the folder where that programm is installed. Try to delete the whole folder or delete any file that is possible to at least destroy this programm. Then reboot and try to delete the folder again.
