Used hard drives

So I have a prebuilt pc and aspire xc-603g and I want to remove the hard drive and install it in my new build but I'm not sure if at possible can anyone help me out?

yes make sure to format the hard drive before installing into the new case.

Yep it's possible. I'd also format to remove all of the clutter that the prebuilt manufacturer had put on it

 

-although you don't have to

install without a reformat and reinstall?

might work without problems......... depending mostly on the software installed on the drive....... and maybe the new hardware itself. give it a go and see what happens. more information might help.

OR, are you going to use the drive as a secondary storage device?

I'm using it as my main storage because I'm gettingg an ssd soon for booting up and stuff  and I do plan on reformatting it
