Hi,  I am building a pc and I am going to use the NZXT S340, here's the link NZXT S340 Mid Tower Computer Case, White (CA-S340W-W1) https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00NGMIBXC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_EasHybNNH9PQZ and I was wondering which CPU cooler to get. I was going to use the upHere CPU cooler, Premium Quality upHere Quiet CPU Cooler with 4 Direct Contact Heatpipes, Red LED Fan https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01IVQY6GS/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_0bsHybG8KTD44 but I am concerned it will be too big and not fit. I am looking for something under like 30 because I am on a budget. Please help me to find a cooler or if that one will work. Thank you

What's the whole parts list? Chances are, the members of this forum are probably capable of making a list that could be better for the price. Also, welcome to the forums c:

Thank you! I think this is how you reply but heres the whole part list

CPU - i5 7600, not K

GPU - ASUS GTX 1060 3gb OC Edition

MB - MSI Intel Skylake B150

RAM - Crucial Ballistix Sport 16gb 2x8gb DDR4 2400 MT/s

Storage - Western Digital 1TB SATA 6 Gb/s 7200rpm 64mb cache

PSU - EVGA 500 W1

CPU Cooler - I dont know yet

I also have to take into account a monitor and a keyboard. My monitor is $99 and my keyboard is $66. Everything adds up to about $980, including a wifi usb thing and a vga to hdmi. If you could help me with all the parts that would be great, and i need it to be under $1000 including the monitor and the keyboard, which are fine.

A few edits:

You could get an i5-7500 and not see any performance difference.

A 4GB RX 480 performs the same or better in most games now after recent driver updates.

8GBs of RAM is perfectly fine for a gaming machine.

That PSU is incredibly mediocre, a Seasonic S12ii 520W or Corsair CX450M (Grey label) would be nice and cheap alternatives.

CPU cooler could be a Cryorig H7, which performs quite nice and is only around $37.

1. Get a i5 7500 instead

2. get a b250 motherboard

3. Get a RX4704GB

4. Get a Cooler master 212 EVO for CPU Cooler

Thank you very much! Also with the rx 480 i could crossfire eventually, if you can crossfire with a 4gb. Thank you!

You can crossfire, but with some issues crossfire has, it'd be better to just have a single more powerful card c:

Please not that the CPU might not boot on the motherboard if it does not have the newest drivers, hence why I said get B250 instead...

Thank you, will a 6400 work without an update? And if so does it have any real performance downsides over a 7400. Also I would like a motherboard that can crossfire, because I heard 2 rx 480 are similar to a 1080

The 6400 will work without the update, but if the B250 motherboard and the i5 7500 are cents apart from their Skylake counter parts, just get the newer ones.

About the crossfire, just get one more beefier card, Crossfire and 2 card in general are not that good... By then Vega and the 1080Ti would have released.

Thank you for your help! I did have to change the MB to support the 75, but your PSU, GPU, and RAM helped me a lot! I now have a better rig and its a little cheaper!
