Hi Linus Tech Tips!

 

It's been 6 years since my last build . This time I decided to do a HTPC build for lugging back and forth between countries.

 

After having my gtx 1080 and ssd propped against my wall since Black Friday, I have gone out to purchase the rest of my parts for my system with the release of Kaby Lake, z270i Mini ITX mbs and have completed the build as of Mid-January.

 

Cable management was quite a headache while building in this case. I highly recommend cable ties and shorter power cables if u are attempting a similar build. I also installed 2 Corsair Xtra Flo Slim 120mm fans (15mm in width) in front of the GPU chamber.

 

GPU runs from 70 to 85 degrees and CPU runs from 68 degrees to 82 degrees while Gaming. I'm not sure if this is safe, would appreciate some help.

Nice keyboard, my Drevo Gramr has the same layout (I have Cherry MX Blues on mine).

 

The rig looks awesome!

The only reason I have the bigger RVZ01 is the fact that an ATX PSU fits inside and budget SFX ones suck.

I bet managing those cables was "fun", although you did a good job. I would probably turn the CPU cooler 90°, because the case has vents on the side and the heatsink fins are currently pointing away from them.
