migrating SSD/HDD

So i just finished building my desktop and i want to migrate my os from the SSD that is in my laptop to a 1tb HDD, any suggestions?

My Rig: | CPU: Core i7-8086k @ 4.9 GHz | Motherboard: Asus Rog Strix z370 | CPU Cooler: (some coolermaster one that probably should have been retired several years ago) | Case: Corsair 570x | GPU: EVGA GTX 1080 | RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro

:\ it's just that i have an abundance of hdd's and the laptop will just be used for light gaming and work. so i would rather have the ssd (which i installed in the laptop) in my gaming desktop for quicker boot up and such. (im broke) and i do have 2 keys i just don't want to go through the troubles of a fresh install for each.
