Nvidia Driver Causing Issues

I accidently backdated my Nvidia drivers without uninstalling my current drivers. Now, everytime I start CS:GO my screen flickers and sometimes the game is stuck at a black screen. I uninstalled my old drivers and reinstalled the new drivers and the problem still persists. Any ideas? A clean install of the drivers didn't work either:

Did you try removing all Drivers with a tool like DDU  and then reinstalling the one you want?

Do I need to use safe mode?

When I install Nvidia drivers, should I do a clean install as well?

not necessary. as there are no drivers left.

Should I restart after the drivers are installed? Should I reinstall the Geforce driver update?

restarting is not necessary, but can't be bad. the geforce update will give you the newest drivers.

I'm still getting the same issue.

Then it might be a hardware defect.

It only happened when I accidently installed an old version of drivers over my current drivers.
