Overclocking? Nah.. Underclock/Undervolt FTW!

Almost everyone who uses custom built rigs are always overclocking their components - cpu, gpu, ram, Printer? maybe? haha.

But do you undervolt/underclock? I know it will reduce some performance, but do you?

Yep, temperatures are a reason to do it. But really? Hell no, OC all the way to go

Undervolting alone doesn't reduce performance. I've undervolted my GPU, because it came with high voltage out of the box. The results after -100mV on the core are 6-7 degrees cooler GPU and less noise.

I'm planning on downlclocking/undervolting my current build when I make a new build later this year. I'm probably just going to let it run 24/7 as a file server in my room because I don't think the machine will make much noise unless it's summer here.
