New Laptop

triu1

Hi! i've been looking for a new laptop since I made a terrible purchase last year and regreted it eversince.

I want a laptop that will be used for university work as well as some mild gaming. For school work I'll only be using Office programs and I don't really need to run all triple A games at 100 fps, I'm perfectly ok with lowering settings and res in exchange for performance.

This would have to be under 1000€ since that's as much as I can spend right now. I was looking at the HP Omen but I'm still gathering feedback.

What would you recommend me?

Thanks!

GTX 1060 laptops (besides the Blade) aren't 'craptops' lmao

Look at the new gaming series laptops from Acer and Dell. They have quad-core i5s and GTX 1050s with available 1050Tis and quad i7s, Linus made intro videos about both. Or the older Dell Inspiron 7559 or Lenovo Y700, both have similar specs but with a lower-end GPU.

I'll look around. What's your feedback on the Omen?
