IPS has much superior color accuracy.

yes, there is a chance you'll get one with bad backlight bleed. but don't confuse it for IPS glow, which is inherent in IPS panels

yeah it's fine. but it's TN, and the Dell D2716DG is a better deal

nothing wrong with TN. IPS just has a bit more vibrant colors, as well as consistent viewing angles and little to no color shifting, which becomes more important when you have a larger monitor. but there are really good TN panels, such as the Dell I suggested.

If you view the panel from an angle, the view just sucks. The color accuracy also can't compete with an IPS.

There's pretty much only one budget 1440 Gsync monitor, the Dell S2417DG

But it's not without its drawbacks, like IPS glow or a bit higher latency. These days I've been feeling less bad about giving TN monitors to people.
