Cheap Chinese domestic appliances bad for your Wi-Fi and attached devices

China is at again this time embedding spy chips in kettles and probably any other domestic appliances.  I say again as I remember something similar with ipod chargers on ebay.   It’s a bit odd they chose to used kettles as it an appliance that’s not necessarily plugged in.  If I was them I would have went with the clock radio alarm clocks and you trusted white goods (fringes and alike).

I think we will be seeing more of this in the future, imagine the damage you could do with computer peripherals.  Much more likely to work than something based on open wifi, seriously who has open wifi hot spots.

 

Be aware those ebay bargains !!!!
