Shadowplay always recording mic

How can I disable this? I set it to push-to-talk and also tried to disable mic recording but still it records the mic. The only work around this is to go to the recording devices on the audio settings of windows and set the mic volume to 0 but it will disable my ability to talk to my team in-game. I found that this is a bug like a year ago, and the fix they mention is to roll back on older version of geforce experience. Is that the only option? Thanks!

not what I am looking for. I want to disable mic recording but gameplay recording must stay. Because disabling the record from mic on the settings is not doing what it is suppose to do.
