hi my freind is having problems here is what he said  "I was getting like 20 fps in the busy parts  of I downloaded forza horizon 3 recently and was trying to get some good frame rates due to the poor pc port. I tried overclocking for the first time by downloading msi afterburner and turning up memory clock and core clock (only things it let me change) from half way to the maximum. My frames halved so out of panic I turned everything back to default (afterburner) and tried again. Same result. I tried to launch gta praying it was just the game but I cant even get past the launcher without it stopping responding. Does Gta not respond well to overclocks? I usually get a rock-solid 60 fps and have nearly 500 hours of problemless gameplay, what should I do? PLEASE HELP ME"  plz help

C: Tell him to uninstall afterburner.

Tell him to actually watch the videos of ltt. Need details before anyone can help.

I was in a rush for him not to make his own account and he has a 960m and he has uninstalled it and set all the settings to default and his drivers are all up to date.

So he has a laptop. Need to check temps the temps then.
