Battery excessively draining

hi

 

i have a htc deisre s, if i use it for less than 5 minutes on full charge it will become dead even if im just in the boot menu. if i look at 4ext it will show 1% to 4% battery left. I currently have IceColdSandwitch but have tried cyanogenmod and a few others. any ideas, thanks.

Seems to me that your battery just can't hold a charge and needs to be replaced, the charger does a terrible job of charging, or whatever OS you have drains the battery quickly (be it the OS sucks the battery dry or it leaves programs running in the background).
