Is my mobo dead?

So I built my second ever pc. When finished i plugged in all the cables but the power button wasn't working. So I used the screwdriver to turn on the pc and it was turning on but for only a second or so before shutting down. I then realized that the four pin connector on the mobo wasn't plugged in and when I inserted it in, my hand touhed on the back of the mobo. There's a green LED on the mobo but I keep using the screwdriver but it's not turning on at all. Is my mobo fried? I bought the pc from a friend of mine and all the parts were working.

Are all the stand offs in place?
24pin and cpu power connected properly?
Ram/Gpu seated correctly?

Yes, all of those are in place

I did, my problem is that it went from turning on for 1 sec. to not turning on at all

Probably not as the case's power button wasn't working
