R9 280x 3 Monitors

Hello, my problem right now is I have a R9 280x (1xHDMI, 1xDVI, 2xMiniDP) and want to connect 3 Monitors, but after some some trying and "googleing" I read that I need an active adapter. I already have this one but I still can't get it to work. If anybody has any ideas please reply! Thanks in advance!

Eww, sounds expensive.

How about finding another 280 instead? A used one shouldn't go for much more than one of those active adapters. At least if you're going for a quality one I'd believe.

Ok i solved it! 2 of my hdmi cables somehow don't work with the adapter but work perfectly fine otherwise, i just switched them out and now it works. Thanks anyway!
