Windows 10 start menu questions

I recently upgraded to Windows 10 and had a few problems with its customization, specifically their start menu wherein I have 2 problems:

1. I was wondering how could I pin a video in the start menu since right clicking one doesn't provide an option for me to do so unlike applications and folders.

2. How do I resize a folder tile larger than medium? Based on what I've read, only apps pinned to the start can be resized to wide and large, if you're pinning a folder, you're stuck with a choice between a small and a medium tile.

Only Universal Apps can be resized larger than medium. This is because most Universal Apps provide you with information when the app is not running or running (depending on the purpose of the app). For example, as you can see with the News app, or Weather app, or Mail app, Calendar, Groove Music, etc, they all provide you with some level of information which you can see more or less of it by picking a size.

Win32 apps don't have this ability, and folders don't provide any info that changes dynamically, so there is no point in having larger sizes. So you have 2 sizes: Medium and Small.

You can't pin files on the Start Menu live tile area. So the only way around it, is like you have done it, make a program (in your case batch file), where it runs the file you want.
