Just go with the Corsair RM850x. 100w more for $10 and it's way more reliable.

This article is comparing a higher end PSU, Sure it may be better in that case against EVGA's higher end PSUs but that isn't what we are currently looking at. it doesn't mean every single PSU Corsair puts out is better than EVGA's.

It is the same lineup, the 850x and 1000x so unless you use over 850w, you aren't going to notice much of a difference.
