whats your budget

Maximum about £300. I would go with a contract phone though so it would be less.

I'd get the Pixel on a contract. It seems like a really nice phone from what I can tell, and I'll get one if there is a newer version out once my contract ends (still have 1 and 1/2 year to go, though).

Main System: Phobos

AMD Ryzen 7 2700 (8C/16T), ASRock B450 Steel Legend, 16GB G.SKILL Aegis DDR4 3000MHz, AMD Radeon RX 570 4GB (XFX), 960GB Crucial M500, 2TB Seagate BarraCuda, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations/macOS Catalina

Secondary System: York

Intel Core i7-2600 (4C/8T), ASUS P8Z68-V/GEN3, 16GB GEIL Enhance Corsa DDR3 1600MHz, Zotac GeForce GTX 550 Ti 1GB, 240GB ADATA Ultimate SU650, Windows 10 Pro for Workstations

Older File Server: Yet to be named

Do they even come with contracts? I thought they were only sold unlocked?

I am not sure, but if you have a budget of 300 or so, most phone companies will contract an unlocked phone so long as it is compatible with either GSM or CDMA depending on what the phone company uses.

if he can get a pixel its better in every way than a one plus 3, problem is pixel is overpriced.

hence why he added the part where he has a budget, for 300 the OnePlus3 phones do everything that you would need but by all means he is encouraged to scope out the competition, I am just adding on his list of options :)

I dunno about in the UK, but I got an HTC Bolt by happenstance and have been pretty impressed by it.  I wouldn't have even glanced it, normally, but decided to check it out.  I was actually quite impressed.

iPhone SE? it wouldn't be bad. You get the same shell and the same selfie camera with the iPhone 6S internals......

Judge a product on its own merits AND the company that made it.

Other than a gimmick nobody uses, it's practically an iPhone 6S.

Yeah, but it would be useful for some people. I specifically don't like going into an app from any home screen other than my main one. I'm weird though. But some people like me would use it.
