Lock FN key

Got myself a nice little keyboard (Nixeus MODA V2 Mechanical Keyboard) and it is set to use the function keys (F1-F12)

I was wondering how to change it so the media keys can be accessed without the need to press the Fn key

there is no lock function as far as i can tell

there is no option in the keyboard settings (i think cuz its hooked up to a laptop)

BIOS options are different then the ones on youtube

On my mac there is an option in the settings. As for a pc... you could write an autohotkey script that just holds down the FN key forever. 

 

Perhaps look under accessibility settings.

Check for a setting the your computers BIOS.

What laptop do you have? I had the same on my Asus laptop and there was an option in the BIOS for it.

Yes because ruining the keyboard is identical to writing a script that still retains the functionality of the key.
