I'm trying to figure out, what is the best 3D Rendering/ creation cards for less than $500?

Any Ideas?

CPU: AMD FX 8320e | Mobo: Gigabyte GA‑78LMT‑USB3 | Cooler: Cooler Master Hyper n520 | RAM: 8Gb @ 1333MHz

 

GPU: Gigabyte GTX 1060 mITX | PSU: Antec HCG 520w | Storage: Sandisk 120GB - WD Red 1TB | Case: Modded IBM A50 sleeper

 

All displayed on an AOC I2421VWH

Depends on what you're rendering, program you're using, and how you're rendering it.

It all depends,

but if you need open cl: R9 280X

if you need CUDA: GTX 770(780 if it's on sale)

You may also want to consider a GTX 590/690. I just saw a 690 on Craigslist yesterday for $550

Yeah, OpenCL is known to work fasterwith AMD cards. But because many software companies use CUDA, NVidia usually is the chosen card.
