So, I am new to the PC community, and this is my first post on the forums. I am planning to build my first PC sometime in the summer, and wondering if this will work:

I am going to use this as the main driver, and will be using a Dell Latitude 3340 as a laptop for school use, and will be docking the laptop with the desktop every afternoon. I am mainly using this pc for internet browsing and schoolwork, and running X-Plane 10 and Minecraft as well during free time. I will be also occasionally using photoshop and premiere for image and video editing, with a 10 player minecraft server running in the background. This PC is supposed to last me over 8 years, with a minor upgrade (storage, memory, <$150) every 2 years and a major upgrade on the 4th year (CPU, GPU, motherboard, <$800). May I have some advice on the parts as well as anything else you guys think are important. Thanks!

P.S. Aesthetics are also important.

firstly, cpu cooler - get the kraken x62 - it has leds :) as for cables, get cable mods of similar things for ur psu - also, im unsure of your colour scheme is it all black or black and white? other than that - it looks fine - although u may want to wait for ryzen and see what happens

The color scheme is black with a little white and silver with rgb, and the case will probably be covering all of the cables. I also sorta wanna stick with corsair and asus, just to make things easier in the future.

Well it's your choice then.
