I like analog music media.

I own a hifi system which is placed in the living room. In my 3 other rooms I have various types of Speakers. I would like to be able to play the same music at the same time on all of them. My first thought would have been to use google chromecast. But there is one problem I do not no of any solution to play analog music ( cd´s vinyl) over chromecast. Does anyone  of you know of a system wehere i can use e.g. the tape out from my amplifier to stream that signal to different rooms/speakers ( I am aware of the possibility to plug a pc into my tape out and then stream it from the pc but it is just a really clumsy solution)

I would appreciate any form of advise!

Well, anything that streams over the air (like a chromecast type devie) would likely degrade the quality to mp3 quality anyway. So I'd assume the only viable solution to preserving quality would be to put a splitter behind the record player and just sending the signal to all amplifiers.

Use a wireless transmitter and three different receivers. Just make sure you can adjust the transmission and reception frequencies so you can broadcast to all three receivers. Kind of like a mini-radio system.

@djdwosk97 see where you are commeing from. I do note really care about the highes quality in the other rooms, so mp3 would be just fine. I just want to be able to here the music when i walk into the kitchen for a moment e.g. washing the dishes while still finishing the album.

@Aereldor What transmitter are you thinking about? The problem with this solution would be that it misses the function of "streaming" music so listening to music from your phone for casual use....

This would not yield any control- it'll just allow your music to be played on another set of speakers. Get a remote, I suppose.

Your intended use is highly impractical. Streaming with full control on several individual devices is digital and complex. You'll need to set up something like a shared digital music library.

@Aereldor Ok maybe I´m having difficulties explaining this. All i want is a cheap and cheerfull multiroom setup like with chromecast audio just with the added functionality of a 3,5mm or Aux input into the system. I know that this is doable with a) Sonos ( would cost 1235EUR and replacing all the speakers which is too expensive and I do not dig the sonos experience ) b) chromecast  audio  and a pc plugged into the tape out ( a bit to clumsy)

So my dream would be any device that could replace the PC in a Chromecast setup or a different chromecast-like system supporting that feature natively.

Not sure I know how to help. I was going to recommend using an Apple device with an aux input dongle, and streaming it to a used Apple Airport Express, but you can only stream to one at a time.

@SSL- any ideas?

For vinyl, your best bet is probably to just rip your vinyl. You'll need some kind of ADC to hook up your TT to your PC. This can range from pretty cheap to pretty expensive. I believe there are other members here with specific experience with this. You could also just get a TT that you dedicate just for streaming such as the Audio-Technica AT-LP120-USB.

For the CD player, it should have a digital output that you can connect to your PC.
