Is there a way to turn down my fans?

KJ4

So i recently bought an MSI H81M-E33 Motherboard for my PC, and when i try and turn down the fan speeds in my pc, the lowest it goes is 50%, and even though my CPU cooler and rear fan are fairly quiet, my front fan is really loud and if i want my pc to be quiet i have to disconnect my front fan, which could make air flow a little worse. I have tried looking up ways to decrease the percentage of the fan speed, but i cant find anything that actually works and is still stuck at 50%.

Try Speedfan.

Also is your front fan being powered by molex or a 3/4 pin on the motherboard?

What fan is it and what header are you plugging the fan into?

You could use a fan controller instead that individually controls each fan. Google for fan controller and look up one that fits your demands.

It is the system fan 2 header, and i have plugged my other front fan in and it is much quieter. The fan i am currently using is an Arctic X12 120mm.

You can limit them in BIOS

Edit: Depending on MoBo

Yeah, it doesn't allow me to go lower than 50, which is why i want to get my front fan to a lower speed.

Sys_fan2 is just a powered header with a 12v signal which will run the fan at 100%. It offers no form of control and you should get a splitter to run off of the other two headers if you want control.
