Too old PC upgrade

Hi 

I found my too old PC and thinking to upgrade it specs :-

 

Mobo- Intel D945GCCR

Processor- Intel Pentium 4 631

RAM- 1GB 667mhz DDR2 

HDD- Seagate 40 GB

 

I'm thinking to buy 1 more gig of 1GB D2 667, 1 TB Seagate 7200 RPM & Zotac 710 2GB 

Wanted to play CS:GO 

 

Kindly suggest me ,is this old thing support all of this ? ?

you can run a pentium d 945 on that, you may be able to get one cheap to eke more performance. get a cheap second hand gpu.

idk at BEST you could use this for PFSense but dont bother with the GPU

Sir it's less than $50 GPU(new) do this Mobo supports 710 ?

gt710 is totally crap. it isnt as bad as 610, but it's bad. even a 260 from 2009 will whoop its ass.

I beg you, please buy a whole new desktop. With celeron processor and iGPU combination, it'll cost about $200.

That computer is garbage. Has literally no value at all . That wouldnt run anything and nothing can be upgrade. It will have issues with even chrome.

CS:GO hits the CPU harder than the GPU. There's nothing on that socket that can keep up well enough.

dude that pentium will bottleneck everything , my pentium dual core wich is pretty much twice as fast as that thing necks a GT 530 to shit

NO , my pentium D 820 + GT530 wasnt that great in the original CS

you can get ALOT better components used 

• i3 540 10$ 
• HD 6870 40$
• mobo 20$
• ram 4/8gb 10/20$
• powersupply 30$
• case 5$

there you go , a pc that will do you fine for 125$ , and this is w/ 1156 ,

sometimes newer parts are not that much more , haswell for instance
