My Home Command Center

Intremag

Welcome to my home Command Center! This is a space that I have been working on trying to perfect for years. For me, specs of my tower will always take a back seat to my peripherals, and the comfort and aesthetics of my work space.

(I apologize for the quality of this photo, it was just a quick panorama taken with my Galaxy Note II)

Peripherals:

2x Samsung SyncMaster PX2370's - As far as non IPS panels go, I believe that these are the best! They are a couple of years old, but have served me great! I absolutely love these displays.

CM Storm Quickfire Rapid Keyboard - A great mechanical keyboard (Cherry MX Blue) that is basically just a re-brand of a Filco keyboard. I love this keyboard because the cable for it is just a mini-usb, so it is easy to disconnect and take to LAN Parties, without disassembling my desk.

Logitech G400 Mouse - It may be a lower end mouse, but I absolutely love it. Before this mouse, I had an MX518, and this is just an upgraded version. I love this mouse.

Logitech Z623 Speakers - Great speakers, THX Certified. These speakers are good, but do have too much bass out of the box. With the bass turned down to 25%, I love the way they sound.

Mouse Pad - I don't remember the brand of this mouse pad, but it is huge. I have a Star Citizen mouse pad on the way to replace it though!

Phone (since it is in the photo) - Samsung Galaxy Note II Unlocked. It's a big phone, nothing more to say about it.

The Rig:

AMD FX8350 - Nothing special here, my next build will probably be Intel, but my 8350 serves me well.

GA 990FXA-UD5 - I love Gigabyte computer hardware, it is rock solid. Fantastic board with no coil whine.

Gigabyte Windforce 7950 - A great GPU with enough power to run mostly everything on ultra. I am planning on upgrading before Star Citizen though.

OCZ Fatal1ty 550w Modular PSU - 80+ Certified, and 550w is plenty to power this system.

OCZ Agility 3 120gb SSD - It's fast, and large enough for a boot drive.

2x WD Caviar Black 500gb HDD's - Storage drives, they get the job done.

ADATA Ram (4x2gb) - I haven't felt the need to upgrade my memory.

LG Blu Ray Drive - Not sure the model, it's just a blu ray drive.

Corsair H50 - It was free from a friend.

Linksys WMP600N Dual-Band - It's a wireless card.

If I missed anything please let me know! I love this computer/setup and I am thrilled to be able to share it with you all!

Thank you guys!

@magicbennie: No, I think you are seeing my phone charging cable.

@whatthe_fuzz: Depends who

you ask, hah.

@TicTac: Beleive it or not, it is always made.

@cartdog: I used my Canon 1Ds, it is an old camera, but nothing quite reproduces the qualities that it has.
