The surface of my desk is literally bending and it is super annoying. I want to replace it within the next year. I am looking for >$100 and would like it to be nice and big so I can have a place to do homework and a place for my setup and an ultrawide monitor. (I plan on getting one some day) I do want the surface to be black if that is possible and maybe some storage options if you can because I need more space in my closet that I really need to clean but am too lazy to do. Anyone know of anything and if it will bend like my current desk which barely had any weight on it by the way.

Ikea?

I am not very good at choosing desks and I learned that after picking an unbranded piece of shit that bent on me. I did add an edit but I want a darker surface to fit my Black/Blue/red setup.

ikea desks wont bend, so just go onto the store, and find one you like that fits your requirements and budget

Well thanks. I just need to look into painting the surface of the Micke desk and I have what I want.

Edit: I didn't notice the color option. xD

That's kind of like the one i have, except i picked up the legs, draws and table top individually, costs a tad more, and you lose that draw that runs along the desk. But it means you can have the draws and top the color you want

And it's MASSIVE for the price. That's why I got it.

I like that one. It even has an option for blue legs and is an amazing price. Drawers shouldn't be that expensive either.

That's a good idea. probably going to look into that.

I found a review of the desk from a really small channel so I am not sure if I should trust it but just thought I should point it out. Apparently it wobbles and isn't very rigid. Pretty sad because I really like it. That means I have to settle for the micke. :(

The Micke is actually really good, I just chose the one I did for the size and price.

Well IKEA desks are essentially honeycomb papers covered with a very thin layer of Fiberboard on the top and bottom. So of course it ain't "rigid" to begin with.

Just get any old table from a thrift store, surely you have something like a goodwill or some other used goods store like that in your area?

Either that, or get a folding table from walmart, like that one

It is more expensive so I will just get the linnomon and put it against the wall and maybe get new legs later.

I want a real desk and I want it new. I see your idea and it's a good one but it just isn't what I am looking for.
