Hey,

I'm planning on spicing up the setup (listed below) to make it look gorgeous and to put it on my desk.

I like the Air 540 case but it might be a little big to put it on the desk.

Do you like this case?

DO you think it looks good with the asrock H97 Pro4 mobo?

Other advice welcomed too...!

Because it looks good....? 1440p gaming

What are your PC components? It sounds like you're putting mid range components in a highly expensive case

Also if you're stuck on that and youir components fit, just get an in win case at literally half the price

I take it next time you'll not make the mistake of buying an H chipset board with a K CPU? Not worth upgrading that though

But ya, save some cash, get one of those IN WIN cases most likely

Overall though what's the point of the tempered glass unless you've got titan XPs in SLI with Custom Water Cooling?

Can you show us a picture of your current build. Hard to say what would look good without seeing how it looks now.

I disagree that your system has to be OP in order to justify a nice case. It's all in the eye of the beholder. Fans and LED strips could really influence the appearance of build.

That case would look better with your current motherboard. Also, a z97 mobile would look awesome. The ASRock z97 extreme 4 is a great mobo for features and overclocking.

I don't understand why so many people tell me that. The K version is 0.4 GHZ faster at standard than the 4790 so that's the reason for the K processor. I don't want to overclock or SLI so what's the point of a Z Chipset.

the whole point of a K chip is overclocking, mostly trying to get as close to 5ghz as possible

doesn't matter at this point, I'd get the IN WIN case and save some cash up.

Eventually move to a 6 core Ryzen CPU or something with custom water cooling

maybe pick a case that had tempered glass and is built for water cooling like a fractal case

Besides if asthetics is what you want you want case labs for it's modularity, not the smallest thing ever though
