Looking to pick up a trackball and was looking at the kensington slimblade however when I found out it only had 1600 dpi, I knew that was't going to cut it (I'm used to around 3300 dpi) Does any have any good recommendations for wired trackballs with a higher dpi?

that's dpi on a mouse i assume? consider that you don't have to drag the whole trackball around like you would with a low dpi mouse, you just give the ball a spin.

what do plan to use the trackball for ? gaming? picture/video editing?

if you do editing trading a little bit of speed for accuracy is better anyway IMO

gaming on a trackball - specially FPS - is very different from mouse gaming and might take you some time getting used to anyway.
