Why youtubers say that is bad to have on same chanel .. let`s say music content and gaming content or other things.

If is a gaming chanel , then only gaming , and if is a music or math chanel then only that.

Does affect views ?

Like .. why for example LinusTechTips and Techquickie aren`t in same chanel.
